The Reliablity tests for Panasystems Displays are normally held in our independent laboratory to test and ensure the consistent stability and the reliability of the its displays.

There are 8 main kinds of testing method we company are currently using:

  1. Temperature Storage Test
Temperature testing reduces the risk of our LCD displays failure in the field by simulating the temperature conditions that products are exposed to during their lifetime. The test specification defines the applied temperatures and test conditions, these may be to test the equipment's operational limits or to test the equipment's survivability at more extreme storage and operating temperatures.

  1. Salt Spraying Test

The salt spray test (or salt fog test) is a standardized and popular corrosion test method, used to check corrosion resistance of spare accessory parts and surface coatings.

  1. Pulling Test

This test is designed to determine the maximum tensile strength between display and FPC or FFC.  Tensile strength is expressed in units of kgf min.

  1. Vibration Test

In this test, the object is vibrated by special shakers. Performed shocks are in a specific frequency range, deviation and in 3 directions respectively.

  1. Package Drop Test

A package drop test is a simulation of the falls that a package holding goods may experience during shipping and handling.  In a controlled environment, a full package (typically, a carton with the correct item/s inside) will be dropped in various ways (on corners, edges, and faces, in a certain order) in order to improve the packing protection for the LCD displays.

  1. Electrostatic Discharge Test

In everyday activities, when a large load accumulates on the human body, for example, by rubbing on clothing/carpet. We feel it as an “electric kick” – it can even be several kV, which could damage our PCBA badly.

ESD generator used in this case is to test the anti-static ability of the LCD displays.

  1. BM-7 Luminance Colormeter Test

Color correction factors can be directly entered into the BM-7 Luminance Colormeter Tester with out using a PC. 5 -points color correction is normally used to test small and medium sized LCDs  and 9-points points color correction is used for large sized ones (above 15 inch ).

  1. Color Analyzer

Now that you know everything about our reliability tests,  All the equipment and procedures ensure the stability and reliability of every individual PANASYSTEMS’ products.  we hope you understand how much work stands behind before which is ready to be implemented in your design.
